Suppose you want to put a link on your page that will take people to another page in your site.

Type in the link text like this and highlight it:

Now it looks like this (only if your link colour is pink, of course!):

You'll see Golive helpfully reminding you that you haven't yet linked to anything.

use the right-facing arrowYou have several choices:

You can use the right-facing arrow to see some possible choices presented, from links you have made recently.

browseYou can use the folder icon to browse.
You can overtype 'Empty Reference', but for a link within your site it's not the best way, see why in a minute.

Best of all, point and shoot. Click and hold on the whirly thing, drag across to the file you're linking to, in the site window (no site window? bad person!).

Hold down the mouse and drag to the page you want to link to. This takes a bit of practice, and if you get it wrong you'll see the elastic band-thing whip back. If the file you want to link to is inside a folder, just hold down your mouse on the whirly thing, drag over to the folder, hover, and the folder will open so you can see the file you want. Again, some practice might be needed.
overtyping is tricky!The reason why overtyping isn't such a good idea is, if the target file is in a folder, you'll need to get the leading characters correct.
