Find the folder where you want this and other sites to live - 'websites' is not part of your site, it's where they all go. I would choose 'wombat folder'.
You should see where your new site will live.

Click Finish.

Success! Golive has opened your new site file and you are looking at the site window. An index.html page has thoughtfully been created for you to start on.

Please work on your site EXCLUSIVELY within this site file.

After you quit Golive, open your websites folder in the Finder and you should see this structure:

You probably won't go near the settings for quite a while, but you may well soon be using the features in the data folder.

In case you upload your site manually, it's important to know that only the contents of the root folder get uploaded.... until you get to the point of having a 'Generated Items' folder, that gets uploaded too. Patience!

Terms again:

The project folder is called 'wombats folder'.

The root folder is called 'wombat'.

The all-important site file is called 'wombat.site'.

Open this first whenever you work on your site.
